IEMCA Marks 60 Years of Enterprise

Back

AN EXTRAORDINARY AND UNFORGETTABLE STORY

The story of IEMCA (Industria Elettro Meccanica Complessi Automatici) began in Faenza in 1961, initiated by Prof. Vladimiro Fabbri's innovative design skills and entrepreneurial insight. The first IEMCA bar feeder, Model A, revolutionized the method of loading bars into machine tools. In 1967, Dr. Roberto Bucci established IEMCA S.p.A. and became its first Chairman of the Board, heralding IEMCA's steady ascent to global leadership and dominance in the bar turning sector.

In June 2021, IEMCA celebrated its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of business achievements and success. Today, it provides the most extensive selection of automatic bar feeders worldwide for various installations. IEMCA's global footprint extends through its 10 international subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, and America.

IEMCA's journey has been shaped by innovation, technology, local engagement, global expansion, and cultural influence, but most importantly, by its people. This is why we chose to commemorate our first 60 years by revisiting them with those who have contributed to our story.
