Davenport and IEMCA: The Perfect Combination for High-Volume Production

Davenport multi-spindle lathes are engineered to maximize productivity in precision machining processes, improving overall efficiency and reducing cycle times. Davenport's hybrid technology combines the mechanical robustness of traditional lathes with the precision of CNC machines, offering flexibility for complex operations such as threading, drilling, and turning special alloys. In collaboration with Davenport, IEMCA has developed the NEXT multi-spindle bar feeder, designed exclusively for installation on Davenport Hybrid lathes. IEMCA NEXT replaces the traditional stock reel and is equipped with 5 polyurethane guide channels to feed the machine’s 5 spindles. NEXT 25 also features a side bar magazine (space-saving) and automatic loading operations for unattended production.

The NEXT 25 DAVENPORT is an automatic bar feeder for multispindle lathes, completely integrated, able to handle bars with diameters between 5/32” (4 mm) and 1” (25 mm) and lengths between 9’4” (2,850 mm) and 13’9” (4,200 mm).

PRA 52 is a bar feeder to power the stock reel of multispindle lathes equipped with 5, 6, 8 spindles. It is able to load bars of diameter between 4 to 52 mm and length between 1.500 mm and 4.200 mm.
