IEMCA is therefore proud to announce the opening of a new logistics hub in South Korea, in the Busan metropolitan area. This facility not only strengthens IEMCA's presence on the Korean peninsula, but also aims to establish itself as a strategic distribution center for surrounding territories, such as Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
IEMCA has been present in Asia for over 30 years, and today has five branches on the continent: in China, South Korea, Japan, India, and Taiwan.
The inauguration of the new logistics hub in Busan, South Korea—alongside the Incheon office opened in 2022—represents an important step forward in expanding the IEMCA network not only on the Korean peninsula, but also in East and Southeast Asia more generally.
The new logistics center includes a warehouse area of over 660 square meters, capable of housing up to 100 IEMCA machines. The goal is to guarantee the immediate availability of the complete range of IEMCA bar feeders, compatible with any lathe model, single-spindle or multi-spindle, sliding or fixed headstock. To ensure a complete service, the warehouse also has a section dedicated to spare parts, allowing for rapid interventions and minimizing machine downtime.
The facility also includes an office area of approximately 100 square meters, with a dedicated team able to provide sales and technical assistance to support the infrastructure.
The new logistics hub immediately established itself as a strategic hub of the IEMCA network worldwide, capable of offering:
• Drastically reduced shipping and delivery times, especially for Made in Italy models. Deliveries to Korea are made in 1-
2 days , while they require only 1 week for Japan , and about 2 weeks for other neighboring markets such as Thailand and • Vietnam. The goal is to promptly satisfy any request, both for new installations and for maintenance and replacement needs.
• Wide availability of models ready for delivery . The logistics center keeps a wide range of IEMCA bar feeders in stock, ready for shipment, to quickly equip any type of machine tool, whether single-spindle or multi-spindle, sliding headstock or fixed headstock, without waiting.
• Local support . The strategic location of the logistics center and the presence of qualified IEMCA personnel throughout the country guarantee an even closer and more personalized service for customers and partners in Asia.
• Regional distribution . The new hub will serve as a point of reference for Asia and will manage the distribution of IEMCA products throughout the region.
