The IEMCA OPEN HOUSE event has reached its seventh edition: again this year, our 25,000 sqm production plant has welcomed customers, technical partners, students and anyone who is passionate about the manufacturing sector and the machine tools industry.
From May 22nd to the 24th, customers and suppliers had the chance to visit the production plant in via Granarolo 167 - Faenza, Italy. On the morning of Saturday 25 May we welcomed our employees, their families and everyone interested.
As always, the event was a great opportunity to discover more about the latest developments in terms of technological innovations, digital factory and productivity maximization, as well as a chance to admire IEMCA renovated production lines and the numerous lathe-bar feeder installations.
The IEMCA plant in Faenza is now even bigger: on Friday, May 24th, our President, Mr. Massimo Bucci, unveiled the new 4,000 sqm plant expansion. Our production capacity has increased once again, thanks to an available surface area of more than 25,000 sqm. More than 200 people work in this location everyday developing new innovative technologies to support end users.
The IEMCA Open House is also an occasion for the professional and the academic worlds to meet. During the event we welcomed students from ITIP, IPSIA and Liceo Scientifico in Faenza, who got a chance to visit our production plant and discover more about our company, from the production area to the R&D department.
We welcomed more than 100 customers from all over the world, including France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, United States, Taiwan and China. Friday May 24th was dedicated entirely to Italian customers. It was an amazing occasion to meet our end users and listen to their experiences and suggestions. We took the opportunity to show them our renovated production lines, following the production plant expansion, and the latest technological developments designed purposely to increase productivity to the fullest.
